Just wanted to thank Brendon Roofing for completing our large en-suite bedroom extension above our garage on our old 1890’s cottage. As I have said before Brendon Roofing will not disappoint, Paul and his team, including Rhys and Tom have been amazing. Whilst on site they were always polite, clean and honest, advising of any additional work if it came up, which it did due to it being an old 1890 cottage with solid 20” walls. However, with Paul’s knowledge and contacts they managed the whole project from start to finish and gave us confidence that any issues arising could be dealt with.
As I have noted before we were apprehensive about the extension but Russ and Paul both gave us confidence prior to the build even happening, plus we had used Brendon roofing before on a previous project so knew they had a great work ethic.
During the build, Paul and his team were faced with very wet conditions but made sure that everything possible was done to keep us dry, it was a challenging time for the team with Paul, Rhys and Tom getting soaked through, but without this we would have had a very wet kitchen/garage!
We also thought we’d have no access to kitchen facilities and downstairs toilet during the build but Paul and his team cleaned up every day and made it possible for us to use the main part of the kitchen, with access through to the toilet/laundry room and garage which made our lives so much easier due to having two young children, they definitely went above and beyond to keep things moving forward and keeping us happy!
At the end of the project December 2024, we moved into our new bedroom, however, it was too wet and cold to finish the garage roof as was using GRP but everything was protected and waterproofed and with plenty of trust built with Brendon roofing had no concerns over the winter months. As soon as it was better weather they called up and booked in the last couple of days to complete this project.
